Small Business Owner? Benefit from the Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP)
What is CDAP?
The Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) is a Canadian Government Program that helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) adopt digital technologies to increase their competitiveness.
Two grants are available under CDAP, and if your business is eligible, you can apply and get both:
1. Boost Your Business Technology Grant
2. Grow Your Business Online Grant
What is the Boost Your Business Technology Grant and how does it work?
Eligible businesses will receive up to $15,000 for the Boost your Business Technology Grant - to have their digital adoption plan built for them by a CDAP-approved advisor (like us!), followed by a 0% interest loan of up to $100,000 to implement it. Under this digital adoption program, businesses can also receive a wage subsidy of up to $7,300 to hire students or recent graduates.
Note: Boost your Business Technology grant is fully subscribed and is no longer accepting new applications. Clients with a valid grant agreement can continue to work with their digital advisor and submit a claim for reimbursement. What is Grow Your Business Online Grant?
The CDAP Grow Your Business Online Grant helps businesses get online and improve their digital presence, social media marketing, user experience for online customers, and more. With this CDAP Grant, your business can receive up to $2,400 in funding to help with costs related to adopting digital technologies.
Who is eligible for the Grow Your Business Online Grant?
A business is eligible through CDAP if:

is a for-profit business (including for-profit social enterprises and co-operatives)

is registered or incorporated

is consumer-facing (sells goods and services directly to end consumers)

has at least one employee (other than the owner) or had at least $30,000 in annual revenue in the most recent tax year
What is covered by the Grow Your Business Online Grant?

a new website or added functionality to an existing one (such as online reservation/booking tools, online ordering systems, electronic payments, search engine optimization or SEO)

hire a consultant -- like Adept Marketing Solutions -- to help with digital marketing strategies, including social media advertising

track and manage inventory and sales, market to customers, offer discounts, maintain a loyalty program, or increase cyber security using e-commerce software

pay up to 20% of the total cost of hardware and software.
